Many of you will have heard about the concert where reporters claimed Egyptian fans ‘sexually harassed’ Lebanese singer Marwa and I just thought I’ll give you my two-cents on it! Marwa clearly told Motaz El Demerdash that there was no harassment and that the fans just loved her so much that they wanted to be photographed with her. Marwa even cried and said that she hated how the press translated the fans actions into something disgusting so: Why does the press still insist that she was harassed?As an Egyptian myself, I think it’s insulting to turn the people of Egypt who have welcomed artists from all nationalities into their country with open arms into perverts! It seems some are so set on the fact she was harassed that they claimed she staged the whole scene pretending to have been touched to gain fame!! If she really wanted some fame why wouldn’t she just fake a car accident like Nancy?! Why sexual harassment?! So I guess what I’m trying to say is let it drop! If the woman says its love then let her enjoy it!
