Madline Matar sings for ‘The Dinjowana’

Lebanese singer Madline Matar just returned from Qatar where she performed at a wedding party, according to the London daily Elaph. An array of newspapers and television stations sought after interviews with Matar during her stay in the country.


The Lebanese star recently completed a new ‘Khaliji’ (Gulf) song titled “Wahishni Moot” (I Missed You Like Crazy). The song, written and composed by El Sheikh Da’ej El Khalifah Al Sobahm, is part of the soundtrack to a new Khaliji movie “Al Dinjowana.” The film was written by Deef Allah Zaid and produced by Faisal Shams under ‘Yara Pictures Production Company.’

Matar was chosen to perform ‘I Missed You Like Crazy’ for her soft, romantic voice. A new video clip for the song, including scenes from the movie is in the works and will be aired on different satellite music channels, a technique some have come to describe as a new style of advertising for movies yet to be released.

She is also preparing to film a video clip for the song “Lo Da Yerdik” (If This Pleases You) by the late Riyad El Shamari. The song is written by Hani Abd El Kareem and distributed by Muhammad Mustafa.
